        Hey there, my name is Kashif Hasmati and I call myself a Cologne Cognoscenti because quite literally I am obsessed with colognes and fragrances; in short I love everything that emits any kind of pleasant scent. I absolutely love blue or simply put fresh colognes and just like me I've seen that a lot of people prefer a fresh smelling perfume more than a sweet one. You can't find much suggestions, articles or any kind of content written on this topic so I thought to make one.

My suggested top 5 blue or fresh colognes for men are as follow:

5.) Versace Pour Homme: 

    Let's start with the fifth cologne which is Versace Pour Homme. I recommend this cologne to people who like more of a light smell. Versace Pour Homme is a fresh and a very safe cologne to wear, you don't have to worry that people might complain about the smell. Instead it is a kind of a cologne which most of the people would love to smell. Notes of the cologne are as follows: 

Top Notes: Lemon, Neroli, Bergamot and Rose De Mai.

Middle Notes: Hyacinth, Clary Sage, Cedar and Geranium.

Base Notes: Tonka Beans, Musk and Amber.

4.) Davidoff Cool Water:

    The fourth on the list is Davidoff Cool Water. If you are looking for an affordable yet classy, niche and expensive smelling cologne then this one is for you. It's a classic cologne created in the year 1988 by Pierre Bourdon. Davidoff Cool Water is preferred and worn by a lot of celebrities which itself describes why this cologne is on this list. Notes of the cologne are as follows:

Top Notes: Mint and Green Nuances, Lavender, Coriander and Rosemary.

Middle Notes: Geranium, Neroli, Jasmine and Sandalwood.

Base Notes: Cedarwood, Amber, Musk and Tobacco.

3.) Versace Dylan Blue:

    The third on the list is again from the house of Versace which is Dylan Blue. Versace knows how to make a good cologne, Dylan Blue is a blue cologne and a lot of fragrance gurus recommend this when it comes to fresh colognes. It comes in a beautiful emerald blue bottle with the head of Medusa in the center of the bottle, the presentation is top notch. 

2.) Dolce And Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense:

    And the second or the runner up of the list is one of my most favourite cologne Light Blue Intense. I have this cologne in my collection and I wear it almost daily. It has a fresh smell with a spicy hint. It is a compliment getter, if you want to smell like a fresh breeze of air near the beach then you absolutely gotta try this one. It was launched in 2017. It is very long lasting and has a heavy projection. It smells even better after the dry down.

1.) Dior Sauvage: 

    *Drumrolls* The absolute King and the title holder of best fresh and blue cologne is Dior Sauvage. This is a beast when it comes to getting compliments. Sauvage is a bit on the expensive side but rightly so. It was launched in 2015 and is advertised by the one and only Johnny Depp. The creator of this cologne is Francois Demachy.
